What’s your word for 2010?

For the past few years, I’ve come up with a word that has helped define the year ahead and keep me on track. What’s your word of the year?

John – I am all over ‘activate’. And you can take it one step further and reflect on donor-centred fundraising…how ‘activate’ is also about what we want our clients to do with their donors, activists, fans and their prospective donor universe.

Love this! Great word choices too.

My word for 2010 is “gratitude.” I am so very grateful to my wonderful mentors from the past year and to all the amazing people I’ve met via social media. I think, too, that gratitude plays an enormous role in great fundraising. Thanks John!

I think gratitude is one of the BEST words you could use Pamela – Jen and I would know that from a project we are working on right now – and I know I’m gracious to have made a connection with you via social media – so – there you go! Thanks for your comments.
